Paul Janowitz Joins

Shahrokh and Paul on boat

Howdy! Paul here, and I am so excited to be here - on that boat, in Vancouver and at Panalytics. My long bio is on LinkeIn, but in short(ish) - I grew up in market research starting at Gallup, then joined Rob and Theo at Doxus (late they sold to Market Strategies), then I founded Sentient in grad school (a global knowledge studio) and then we spun out our technology side, icanmakeitbetter (an insight community platform providing qual, quant and panel solutions) - both of those sold to LRW (now Material+). Along the way I got to help incubate and fund other amazing companies and be a part of innovative VCs where I was an LP. This included such things as SKU (the first CPG venture accelerator, where I worked with dozens of CPG brands including Siete, EPIC, Dude Wipes…), ATX Venture Partners and Saturn Five (ICON 3D construction, Alert Media…).

After selling icanmakeitbetter and working as a GM at LRW, I took some time off and then started a new CPG company providing nutritional supplements for energy, focus and sleep. All in the middle of COVID, so let’s just say I got to learn a lot (e.g., make every mistake in the book and created some new ones) as we grew it and then sold in 2022.

All of this is to say, I got to make a ton of mistakes, make amazing friends and learn from incredible mentors. So I bring both research and client side experience along with applied operational, technology, brand, sales, financing, startup and scaling experience to each and every project you have.

Shahrokh and I have been working together for 20+ years and he and his team were an instrumental part of whatever success I happened to have every step of the way. We have stayed friends and partners over the years and as I was looking at my next chapter the opportunity to join my friend and the amazing team at Panalytics (many of whom I have worked with for decades as well) was the perfect fit. In business and the MR world there was no one I trusted, respected or admired more than Shahrokh as a practitioner, friend and human being. Thanks for having me Shahrokh and to all you reading this, I would love to work with you.
